Bethany Hamilton learned to surf in Hawaii as a little girl and gave her heart to Jesus at five. On Halloween 2003, a shark took her left arm and nearly her life. Three weeks later she was back on a board. What looked like the end of a dream became the platform God had been preparing. She did not just return to the water.
She returned with a story the world could not ignore.
i love how, in all her fame and glory, she still has time for God. Her ability to just take life as it comes and not give up is amazing. God bless
